Harvey Whitney always dreamed of becoming a police officer, following in his father and
grandfather’s footsteps. After moving to Brevard County in the early '90s, he graduated from
Melbourne Central Catholic High School in 1997 and worked as a dispatcher for the Satellite
Beach Police Department while attending the police academy.
In 2000, he joined the Polk County Sheriff’s office as a Deputy Sheriff, where he met his future
wife, Lindsey. In 2010, Harvey and his family returned to the Space Coast, where he joined the
West Melbourne Police Department. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from Barry University and
a Master’s in Public Administration from the Florida Institute of Technology.
Inspired by his father’s career shift into sales, Harvey transitioned to real estate after 2+
decades in law enforcement, retiring as a Police Lieutenant. He credits his rapid success in real
estate to his education, law enforcement experience, and the support of his wife and business
partner, Lindsey. As a professional real estate investor, Harvey excels in identifying valuable
properties and helping clients achieve their goals.
